  • Regional Alliance and Development Manager

    Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation 2008 - 2010

    • Responsible for the expansion of efficient and effective development programs to enhance cultivation and reinvestment of the MMRF's annual revenue budget of $22MM.
    • Establish relationships with top national hematology oncologists (heme-onc) KOLs as well as local oncologists.
    • Cultivate high net worth individuals to foster relationships resulting in financial donations. Oversee the generation of $3.8MM in revenue from major donors.
    • Planned and executed the MMRF’s Investors Summit, which involved identification of national myeloma Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), speaker training of MMRF messaging, and management of event consultants while working closely with our marketing strategy and scientific communications team. Advocated to stream the Summit live over the internet to high net worth individuals and their medical advisors not in attendance. Raised $350k in revenue from Investors Summit.
    • Oversee $2.5MM in revenue generation from programs such as Online Giving, Planned Giving, Federal Campaigns, Annual Appeals, and Newsletters.
    • Created, managed, and executed online marketing strategy which resulted in a 29% increase in total 2008 online giving in comparison to 2007.
    • Gave sales/donor presentations to high-net worth individuals as a team and alone.
    • Participated in key external and internal scientific meetings.

  • Medical Strategist

    • Team leader on business development and life cycle management for a strategic consulting company in the design of custom enterprise technology solutions.
    • Expert status in the process of identification of Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) for breast cancer, colorectal cancer, growth hormones, renal cell carcinoma, chronic lymphocytic leukemia, glioblastoma multiforme, and lupus.
    • Managed a team to perform targeted influence mapping of KOLs via natural language processing.
    • Supervised all quality assurance pertaining to projects with art directors, copy editors, account executives, research analysts, and programmers to ensure the medical accuracy and medical strategy direction of client’s brand.

  • Post-Doctoral Fellow

    sanofi-aventis 2006 - 2007

    • Lead a cross-departmental team and an outside contractor to create a prototype corporate metabolism database.
    • Managed all aspects of the metabolism database starting with the design all the way through to the presentation of the corporate database to Global Department heads.
    • Successfully delivered the project on time and under budget.
    • Formulated and tested strategies to predict cytochrome P450 metabolic sites of potential drugs by evaluating the strengths and limitations of MetaSite. Propensity of metabolism for certain functional groups were also tabulated and ranked.
    • Explored the use of different docking programs to generate reasonable conformations to be used for MetaSite in hopes of increasing accuracy of predictions.Devised a scientific strategy to efficiently share metabolism data quickly between departments.
